Bruh this rain is CRAZY

I'm undecided on whether to see the forest or the desert this weekend? Both are blooming right now and I wanna see. I'm leaning towards desert because it's closer and the national forests will probably bloom for multiple weeks. Either way I'm not gonna miss this.

Man when you think about it, our property tax laws here (where your taxes will never change unless/until you sell your house) are some of the biggest inequality laws in the nation.

Basically it means old rich cacs can just keep passing their house down to their kids and have the property taxes remain at like 1k or less a year.

But if you are a young person looking to buy a house in CA (where prices are super expensive) you’re going to be paying like 7k minimum property taxes for the same exact size house. Just simply because you’re buying a new house.

It’s actually f***ing insane, given how “progressive” of a state we’re supposed to be lmao
