You should get a really nice thick material, multiple layers. A high quality cotton is sufficient.

Most of the IE is mandating masks, it wont be enforced but better to do it anyways. Also it's such a trip seeing Americans wear masks everywhere now.

Too many people, it’s difficult to contain the spread when the homeless have made themselves even more at home in the streets while families stay inside. Lots of people just don’t care also or feel pressured to go on about their business to keep the lights on so idk

I was watching an Inside Edition video of homeless people living in LAX. Is that actually true? LAX is always the airport I fly into because it’s cheaper than Burbank even though Burbank is closer to Hollywood which is usually where I stay all. Last time I was there, I didn’t notice homeless people in that area.

LAX is huge, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were. I see the most homeless groups around downtown though. The seafood district, central ave etc.

I heard it’s super rough on skidrow. Like actually dangerous. Isn’t that downtown LA? I have to admit I’ve never been to downtown LA. Is there more stuff to do downtown? Closest to that area was in Inglewood. I was there for a concert. People said that area was rough but it didn’t look as bad as I though BUT I was there for a concert with thousands of other people.

Downtown isnt too bad, a lot museums. Lil tokyo, howlin rays in chinatown so technically not downtown but its near.

Are there any neighborhoods that less expensive than most places in LA to live? I said less expensive because I realize there’s no such place in LA that’s cheap to live. I was doing apartment searching and cheapest I found was $1000 a month but I wasn’t sure if those areas are safe or not. Every time I’ve been to LA, I always have a great time. Surprised how nice people were to me.

I think it’s already a big issue, if nothing is done a lot of business owners will end up relocating or just shut down. Kids’ safety should be priority also, la is not safe as it is but with d*** users and mentally unstable people out and about, idk who’d raise a child out here

Im not really well versed in pricing when it comes to LA county and such. But i know in california the farther you're away from LA and SD the cheaper it is. So pretty much places like lake elsinore, victorville, etc where it takes a long time to get to the city its generally cheaper. But overall CA is a bit pricier place to live in relatively speaking.

I've lived in pretty bad neighborhoods with my parents growing up nothing to bad happened to me back then just make sure ur house/apartment is robbery proof.

Depends on how much you wanna commute/what kind of living situation you’re looking for but you can find places for $800-$900 or so far enough from LA

Ideally a studio apartment. Just me. I don’t mind commuting that much. I mean I can’t say for sure since I haven’t even got any plans to move to Cali atm, just trying to get info from people that live in that area or from Southern California. I would imagine the best place to work is Downtown or Hollywood. That’s just me guessing.

I used to pay ~$725 for a room in an apt about 45 mins from downtown.

And as for jobs it really depends on what you’re trying to do. Downtown really isn’t like the “center” of LA imo. Not that there’s nothing there, but there’s tons of jobs and opportunities in almost every suburb.
