What part of SF did you go?
Bcuz my dude it’s not a super clean city. Both LA and SF have a homeless problem.
Yes, SF rent is crazy
My hotel was downtown near the outdoor mall. There were some parts that were a little rough but not too bad. Outside of downtown I went to Sausalito and that district with the Painted Houses.

You see any wild s*** while you were in SF? Usually it’s people injecting themselves with d****, s***ting on the street or some other wild s***

Nah not really, I wasn’t in SF too long because I wanted to spend time on PCH, so I probably only saw tourist spots.
Did the SF - PCH - LA drive a couple weeks back. Wow what a beautiful state, it’s basically a GTAV map. I absolutely love SF, such a clean city. It fits my style more so than LA, naturally felt at home because I dress like a Banana Republic model.
The cost of living is crazy though, the Uber driver said it’s like 2k a month for a studio
2k rent in SF is cheap.

Yeah I’m saying tho…every time I’ve been to SF it’s been dirty af
Tho to be fair, hard to think of a major US city that can be deemed “clean”.
This is wild af. My wife and I got our house like 5 years ago and it’s gone up like 50% in value.
We kinda did this cause we bought in a city in OC that we didn’t want to stay in. But where we’re at now is that the place we want to move to (Long Beach) has also had its home prices raise so much to the point where the equity we’ve gained will basically cancel out. I guess you’d have to go to an area that’s just not popular yet to get the benefit of your equity.
San Diego is my fav area outside of OC in CA tho. So beautiful. If my friends/family didn’t live here and if I didn’t have a good job here, I’d definitely consider moving there.
Interesting, never really thought of SD as having an 80s vibe, but I guess I can see that. Weather def is nicer though, but I feel like everywhere in SoCal has been getting hit hard by global warming the last couple years
That last statement you made is an interesting one, because if I had to guess, I would imagine the person who said it was referring to the more wealthy beach areas (like Huntington, Newport, and Laguna -- basically what most people who have never visited SoCal imagine), which is by far my least favorite parts of OC -- filled with MAGA dudes and crystal-power yoga booshes. The rest of OC is very calm/chill, but I def feel like it's very distinct from LA. I guess the diversity/demographics make it comparable to LA though in that sense.
Are you sure you’re thinking of Anaheim? They are very different then those other cities you named lmao :
Lol there's no way you're who I'm talking about. I'm talm bout those super wealthy blond bimbo soccer moms that are anti-vaxxers, I probably just don't know how to describe them properly
And those are def the places I think of for OC as well (and all of my friends who grew up here would also think of), I was just saying for I feel like TV shows/movies portray OC as that glitzy beach area. Anaheim does have some nice areas, but also mainly a lot of run down areas. Near Disneyland and the Packing District is cool, but overall it's still extremely run down. I grew up in Anaheim 5 minutes down the street from Disneyland, and it was garbage tbh
And that sounds extremely dope fam. Gotta get those dope shots with your Pixel down there
Everyone says Anaheim and Santa Ana dangerous but I love them both
They're not dangerous at all, as I was saying with Anaheim above, Santa Ana is the same thing. Got pockets of cool places that have been built up, but overall just not enough money has gone into revitalizing either of them.
actually i guess a better way of saying it would be the downtown area of SF seemed cleaner than downtown LA. it's really hard to compare the two. SF is tiny
