forks is brilliant

fishes, while great, felt like emmy bait (doesnt undermine how great it was)

forks almost immediately made me take a step back and appreciate this is rare. FX keeps striking gold idk how. i didnt think a show would hit me like this but forks might have been the most important piece of television ive ever seen (watched forks in rehab so it particularly resonated with me)

Working at a NY Italian pizzeria at 17 with a bunch of racist Italians yelling while you’re trying to not knock they head off while making 50 pies for a long ass line that’s out the door during lunch and you have 10 pies already in the oven you have to watch solo cus the co-worker is on a “smoke break” you pull one out the over right before it burns and there’s a hole in the pizza from the dough being stretched too thin and a customer orders the 26” pizza that takes two ppl to make and “smoke break” co-worker still hasn’t returned and big boss doesn’t wanna help only yell
