I just don’t see what y’all see in her character but I respect it. I’m not gonna be an ass about it more than I’ve already showed

she seems to play a slightly autistic character, someone whose a bit emotionally stunted and determined to achieve their goals

i think its fascinating to see this kind of awkward coldness in her character. i think ayo does a stellar job at portraying the subtleties of her deep insecurities, lack of social awareness, and disconnect from the outside world.

shes the perfect mirror to carmy, who similarly is emotionally disconnected from the world, strictly career driven, lacks social awareness. they both come from different backgrounds, different traumas, yet have similar responses to stress. they work, learn, and heal with each other in a way, i havent seen many other male / female relationships on tv been able to portray. its great writing and acting. the scene under the table was beautiful.
