"ny style pizza" makes me think you're talking about pizza from out of state that tried to make a new york replica pizza
EXACTLY!!
Any time I go somewhere new I hop on youtube and look up "best food in ____" and best places to shop, etc. Or if I know someone from that area I ask them for recs
Guess I'm not normal, I'd rather meet a bunch of new people irl and get their favorite spots rather than looking at some blog
Not to mention there was no instagram page or One Bite Review I could look at to see "top rated" pizza
ok cool back to the bear this is not a pizza thread

No but the bear is a food show so I think talking about pizza is okay lol

we have an entire thread for actual food talk in life sxn if you wanna keep arguing about pizza discovery methods
this season was 10x better than season 1, massive step up in almost every facet of filmmaking imaginable
while obviously i dont think this show is close in terms of quality, i feel an influence from mad men when it comes to the depth of each characters history, and how that history bubbles up and permeates each interaction between the characters in the present (prob most apparent in carm/natalie/richies scenes). i'm curious to see where they go with the show in future seasons, and if they end up taking inspiration from dons ending in mad men and apply it to carmy albeit slightly differently. i think the best possible ending for carmy would be to achieve 'nirvana' away from the restaurant business
