2:45 to the end much more than just a blues chord
this track isn't bad at all, the hook's pretty catchy imo. Too long tho but that's a complaint I have about a lot of tracks from this era lol.
Was mainly referring how to the subtext was generally ignored by most, it was a pretty controversial but not the most from that era I would say. It was mostly complained that the zipper was damaging the vinyl's by distributors.
The subtext was that rolling stones gay? I'm not getting it lol

why you call them diehard fans they’re just stoners that passes out while the albums are playing

Mainly the hyper-masculine of the usual stones aesthetic that Warhol was catching onto, focusing in on a close-up of the crotch of jeans to focus in on the gay subtext underneath the whole masculine working class man ethos behind the stones that would be rejected by most. (not saying the Stones themselves are gay lol but there's a pretty solid case to be made they're aesthetic is pretty queer).

nope plenty of pure music appreciators, even fully sober ones
i lost the link i had to the archive page of a s*** ton of the grateful dead's bootleg performances when my old computer broke :(
