Honestly MIU is a pretty good album, it's no Love You or Adult/Child but it's still solid, I'd wager that it's better than really anything that they'd put out until Beach Boys 85

Agreed, it's like a lot of early BB albums, it's more solid than classic, but yeah coming off of Love You and the scrapping of A/C all of that really was hard to follow up for sure.

IMO the only REALLY questionable choice was keeping Tomboy out of ALL of the A/C tracks/other outtakes that they had at the time lmao

I just recently found out about a/c it’s in my list of listens !!!
I missed it because it was scrapped. Heard songs off it just didn’t know it relayed to a full project thx for reminding I have to listen soon.

I’ll share this even though I have multiple times. My grandfather was a huge fan of Dennis &
Brian. Well beach boys in general but them the most. (RIP Carl & Dennis) His favourite album was love you. He passed away at age 60
But he always shared with me the beach boys so I love being around the BBS community and Ithaka has really put his heart and soul into this thread just like Brian Wilson did the beach boys
