Isn’t the Arkham Asylum project idea still being developed as a show tho? Id rather hone in on Arkham and its inmates there than try to squeeze it into a portion of the film.
Full on Hugo Strange, Zsaz, Professor Pyg, etc.. with prisoner profiles each episode or something
Also would be easier to show how “Joker” is influencing others like Riddler and lead to a classic Arkham escape debacle that will have consequences for whatever is next
Was still alive in April
Need it
Commissioner Gordon has to be the worst acting performance I’ve ever seen. It was like Jordan Peele playing it as a joke in a skit
First movie was a cringefest dumpster fire
Embarassingly bad
Fr when I tell people this, they get offended. Movie was aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it.
I hope they bring in the more fantastical type villains and really make it some body horror type s***. Putting a monster like Clayface and actually making him a monster in their "grounded" universe would be terrifying
Reeves has to go all in on Clayface imo. I think it would benefit this film trilogy if Reeves does introduce some supernatural elements
I’d love to see Pattinson’s Batman come to realization that there is much more to the world than he ever thought, it would shake him to the core to find out there is a man who can change his face at will. Gordon would be shook too
Lean in to the body horror, and have Micheal Giacchino make a really creepy score for the film…. and you’d have a potentially amazing Batman horror film
I still really hope this happens
Bring on the supernatural s***
Hope this is true

Horror thriller.
Batman shows up to a large abandoned house to investigate. Everything seems normal. Clayface jumpscare as Bats turns a corner and these deep yellow eyes are right in his face. He backs up in horror and confusion and suddenly liquid clay busts through all the doors and air vents around him. He turns around and runs for his life. Strobe effect. Alfred is asking what’s going on and Bruce can’t even respond. Everywhere he turns, more clay is pouring out at him. He’s running down a narrow hallway. Alfred is yelling at this point, asking what he needs. Bruce is just about to be enveloped by clay, reaching his arms out in desperation and then —he dives out of a window three stories high.
He crumples to the ground as the clay retreats from the window back to the depths of the house. Alfred sees his vitals drop and sends the Batmobile immediately over to his location. He starts yelling at Bruce to wake up and get in the car. We see the door to the house creak open and clay slowly starts to squeeze through. Bruce starts to rise as Clayface exits the house. Bruce crawls into the Batmobile as Clayface approaches and Alfred immediately has it auto drive away and take him back to the Batcave.
Hope this is true

ironically I think his backstory would be perfect for a movie adaptation. If they go for a darker approach this story would be perfect
Matt Reeves explains how his Batman is more realistic than Nolan's.

"Being proud of severely limiting Batman's storytelling potential over this faux realism is something, all right. Can we just stop with "realistic" Batman? It's getting boring. Batman is great because he works perfectly with the grounded and the fantastical. I really hope DCU's Batman deliver on that regard."

I don’t see how people are still so hung up on this.
They’re getting all the super crazy s*** in the DCU already.
And I don’t think anyone should forget that this is the same director who was also adamant about keeping a tribe of talking apes grounded. I’m pretty sure that he’d find a way to tackle Clayface as as he did Koba, who was a AK-wielding chimp, but didn’t come of as ridiculously out of place at all.

I just hope he doesn't make Clayface a nutjob in a suit with schizophrenia or some s***. I seriously don't get the obsession with trying to make a guy running around in a bat costume realistic and grounded. I thought Ben Affleck's Batman was the perfect mixture of grounded and fantastical. Wish we got to see a full feature film with his Batman. I just want to see Batman running through criminals like in the Arkham video games. Is that too much to ask for?

BATB is out within the next 6 years or so
And I doubt he’d use Clayface that can’t shapeshift, but we’re gonna have to wait & see
