They're already having to balance a booked and busy star casts schedules: Rob has several films to promote, Stan has multiple shoots this summer and just had a baby, ScarJo has a complex schedule she shifted for this, and Andy Serkis IS DIRECTING and STARRING in a LOTR film NOW despite needing to play Alfred

They delayed cus they want Andy Serkis to really grow into Michael Caine's age as Alfred
