I still think this is likely already cast or close. Reeves and studio are being extremely tight lipped about this film and most of what we know comes from Sneider (who still gets things wrong) lol. There hasn't actually been any officially announced cast yet and no trades want to touch any of these rumors.

Last we heard about ScarJo was she was in final talks (basically leaked by her team and wasn't on scoopers radars) with no official word on who she is and Stan's was only confirmed in a one liner on a newsletter. Even news like Pitt in early talks happened months before news got down (which again wasn't on scoopers' radars and eventually confirmed by trades).

This isn't a situation where we've been actively aware of developments as they've been occurring, and I doubt its become so all of a sudden only on this role. Its only relevant if they're "in talks"
