I like the movie a ton I just don’t want or see it in the DCU personally. They don’t line up tonally at all

yeah im not the biggest fan of the movie, I just find the success of it, the love people have for it, the craft of the movie, and it being a "young" Batman an easy way to retroactively insert into this new universe. If it truly doesn't happen then oh well, I'll be excited to see the batfamily done right for the first time in live action, and if it does happen then it should also be fun

tonally very different for sure, but I think that dynamic is what makes them coming together so interesting. that's how it worked in the animated series and in JL they worked well. Batman takes himself super serious while Superman was always trying to bust his balls.
