I would rather the day off so I could finish this uni assignment due tomorrow but that's just my poor time management

This is why what I do so good, I work hungry jacks opening shifts 5 - 11

it’s s*** waking up early but leaving at 11 let’s me do uni + assignments

Also get a 1.5 for first two hours cause it’s unreasonable time

5am start is f***ed
they asked me if I wanted to switch my Monday hours to start at 7:30am instead of the afternoon and I couldn't do that consistently

last year when COVID was at its worst here I picked up a couple late Saturday night shifts and was working from 9pm to 6am s*** was so f***ed but overnight + Sunday pay was sooooo good

it’s f***ed at first, like I would pass out after work but now I got used to it I can do uni, study and then do other things without crashing out

Also helps I drink double shot coffee, 5 weet bix and red bull before work

facts I wouldn’t mind doing overnight shifts but my HJs opens at 5

a lot of the time the busiest hours of those shifts would be 4 to 6am cause I was cramming at the end so I would have a second wind of energy and wouldn't be able to go to sleep til like 9am afterwards lol

it just wasn't worth it tbh
