Daniel Andrews’ leadership amidst the complete smear campaign from the Murdoch media (Sky News in particular) has been tremendous, with the reporting of Dan you’d think his approval rating was 10% instead of 60%

Do agree that Dan probably wont contest the next election given the fallout from everything though, plus he’ll have been premier for 9 years by the time of next election anyway

sure, generally in the medium-long term as policies begin to have impacts

the average Australian's quality of life right now would not be different whether Morrison or Shorten was in charge.

the same is still true - life didn't become perceptibly better or worse because of it

anyway the talk of leaving your home because an election didn't fall your way is exactly that - hot air ranting on twitter

idk about you but i remember when no one wanted to go outside because of bushfire smoke from government negligence. Whether you want to blame federal or state governments, s*** like that happens.

And yes the average person isn't going to really perceive much because usually these small changes affect less than the majority.
But the small things add up and depending on the person you are within the system it can be very visible. I dont think the "average person" is a great baseline.

Yes we are comparatively privileged to most countries but its not like we never experience change.

You're right about people just hot air ranting though
