how good is the transit in sydney? the train network looks crazy expansive compared to north america but maybe im missing something. is it good enough and reliable to get around or do most of you aussies still drive

highly dependant on where you are in sydney since the city is so huge

there are some areas where the closest train station is walking distance and others where you need to drive or take a bus
most people still have a car

we also have a metro train system that is being rolled out atm, it’s available in some areas already

the trams are ass imo and the buses are pretty standard
if you’re a tourist you gotta do at least one ferry trip
