Ive noticed young, often poc, aussies usually sound super american, even british sometimes

Is there a reason for this

You don’t really see this in other English speaking countries like south africa, NZ, UK, netherlands etc

Only other instance i can think of a situation where people with other wise non english American background sound american is with bilingual french canadians in quebec who speak english as a second language. But that situation makes even more sense than the american sounding Australians because atleast theyre literally surrounded by the north American English accent so it’s normal they pick it up

Obviously American, specifically black american, accents influences the youth globally but you don’t see people sounding full on American

still on track for the 15th where all non vac people are let out. We basically close to 95% at this point

Tbh masks at this point are just for show most of the time. Literally when I went clubbing last night I didn’t wear a mask all night outside of public transport

Yeah I decided to go out to the city myself and walk around just to see what's happening, was nice to see basically everything by the water filled with activity, I spotted the line at bungalow 8 too
