Also "Victoria has accepted that the virus can't be controlled, logic would tell you that, but for at least 200 days Dan & cronies were chasing 0 cases to flout how good they are, in the meantime trying to achieve that killing more people by suicide than the virus ever did, killing more business and livelihoods all in the name "0" cases. It's disgusting, chaotic and the closest thing to communism in a "democratic" society. Daniel Andrews & co have done more damage to this state than any virus could.

That data is pre big lockdown "champ". In 2021 there has been around 30 deaths in Victoria with covid.

you’re falsely attributing all/most of the suicides to covid
and even then the numbers you provided from the aihw dont back your claimThe number of suspected deaths by suicide reported in Victoria from 1 January to 31 July 2021 (384) is similar to the numbers reported for the same periods in 2018 (396) and 2017 (401) and slightly lower than 2020 (436) and 2019 (418) (Coroners Court 2021).
last year was the worst judging by the first two quarters and even then this year is less than 2017, 2018, and 2019
and the covid related deaths in vic doesn’t make up the difference in suicide numbers between this year and last

obviously lockdown has an effect on people’s mental health but your claim has no basis unless you got data that says “x many deaths were caused by covid related issues” or smth
The monthly data show considerable variation, however, ‘these monthly fluctuations tend to even out over the course of a year. This demonstrates the importance of not attributing too much significance to the suicide frequency in any one month’ (Coroners Court 2020a). The variation between months ‘usually results from random factors rather than underlying systemic issues or emerging clusters. The data therefore should be interpreted cautiously, with great care taken in drawing conclusions about any apparent increase or decrease that is observed’ (Coroners Court 2021).

I know/knew more people who died of suicide after they lost everything due to "7 day lockdown that we have to do now to avoid longer lockdowns", but those deaths don't matter right? Only covid related deaths matter apparently, and we must destroy everything and everyone to make sure COVID related deaths are down.
