Tbh yeah. I'm shocked at how much I dislike the podcast episodes because I loved cumtown maybe too much. But now I can only watch the actual show. Nick and Adam being old catty women doesn't appeal to me

ngl i think tafs kinda sucks and didn't realize how much stavros mattered in making the show accessible but the guest interviews have just been top notch. looking forward to nick's standup special.

I don’t think stav was the glue as much as both Adam & Nick are just tired/more cynical and have already spent years putting out tons of bits and already telling their life stories and stuff. There were episodes of CT w/o all 3 hosts and they were generally fine. It makes sense given this context that guests are so entertaining because it adds a new dynamic for riffs and jokes which they desperately need given they’ve already literally discussed every single experience they’ve ever had over the years. Plus Nick is clearly tired of being the spotlight w/ his bits

He was a magnet for stirring the pot and causing drama over nothing, which was entertaining. His sheer stupidity made for some funny moments, like him not knowing what a light map was or him losing his s*** on Adam for not buying a sandwich, or his actual argument w Nick on air where Nick said sincerely he’d die from obesity

Him and Nick just bullshitting was a lot better than Nick and Adam. I feel like they had so much more chemistry, Even if it was mostly just Stav laughing and saying things are gay lol

I think him and Nick bullshitting worked better because they genuinely resented each other

literal laugh track. he said he couldn't bother do 1hr episodes each week and then goes on other people's podcasts for like 6 months like a refugee

his stand up consists of asking people if they've been with a squirter

He also set nick up for bits and punchlines constantly though. I used to feel that stav didnt contribute much but he had a lot more assists than i thought

They literally made his laugh and the three things he said into a soundboard and used that for multiple episodes without the show feeling like it was missing a beat.

He had his moments like they all did but stav absolutely contributed the least other than laughing.

yeah i don't think you're wrong. i just think nick and adam were like "we need to actually create something instead of just sitting and talking like a******s" after stav left. and i don't think that's a bad decision it's actually relatively honorable considering how much money they were making and how little effort they had to put in. i just think that stav served as a solid foil to a lot of adam's weird stuff and now the show is predicated on adam's weird stuff so that's where they lost me a bit.

still have a ton of respect for all of them. nick and adam are still funny as hell.
