exactly the reason if you use shampoo regularly your hair gets super greasy the next day is because shampoo completely wipes all the oils from your head so your scalp produces 10 times more oil the next day to compensate

if you just never shampoo and wash your hair normally through the water your scalp oil stays at a normal baseline level
