With day 1 / first year switches there is an xploit no Mater the firmware
While booting up the switch. Get a paper clip and touch one of the pins on the right side where you attach the right joycon. It enters Dev mode and allows you to input code via USB c which you can use to hack any firmware
They patched this in the later models
