They sang songs from several musical genres including country and heavier rock like 'Hold Her Tight' and 'Crazy Horses'. The Osmonds started performing on the Andy Williams Show in the early 1960s. Their performances included dance routines. So, in actuality, the Jackson 5 copied the Osmonds in 1965 by setting up a group made up of brothers and performing dance routines while singing. The Jackson 5 may never have happened without the influence of the Osmonds, and the Osmonds may never have been as successful without the influence of the Jackson 5. Both were great. End of story.
