fingers crossed we either A. sign an established coach as an assistant who can do the actual work or B. draw in enough good players that it doesn't matter whose at the helm. assuming he signs his max this year we should still have 5 years to get things right with Luka and when you have a player that good s*** can usually fall into place so while I'm not hype on it I'm far from panic mode

I think the Laker players like him so much because he's a guy from the NBA fraternity and at the end of the day is just an assistant who probably is just responsible for adding a little input and managing relationships.
Prob much different when youre the head coach and have much more responsibilities, like Dan mentioned Milwaukee hated him
