Because of his inability (seems to be more disinterest but idk) to develop a respectable shot outside the paint, he will always be a hole on offense unless he is used as a roll man/small ball 5

eh, usually said about aging superstars, not up and coming stars trying to make a name for themselves

you're right, you never know, but I'd be extremely surprised if the Bulls did that before signs of Lavine's discontent, and no way in hell they do it for a player like Simmons

I'd be okay with taking a flier on him if 2 conditions are met

A) he absolutely cannot be a point guard, he strictly plays 4/5 and isn't the primary or even secondary ball handler

B) we don't give up any first round picks in the deal
