and it doesnt work like that. kawhi generates scoring opportunities by virtue of being an elite scoring threat that defenses have to focus on/collapse to often

the problem is that this applies to literally every top 10 player lol. kawhi doesn't generate many extra opportunities relative to his peers -

harden finds the tiniest of pockets to get off a lob, bron sets up the play before the play, curry leverages his gravity and movements to drag away defenders, etc. etc.

it (sometimes) works out because kawhi is surrounded by a bunch of great shooters. but thats a reflection of roster construction, not kawhi's abilities as a playmaker
