That's the thing you're taking accountability off yourself. You want to better society go and do something small instead of telling everyone else what to do. Telling people to shut up does nothing for anyone either. Go volunteer, donate do something small and make changes

For all you know that girl goes to bed sad every night because her parents gotta sleep on a couch and wake up with back pain so you trying to justify your view of her situation simply because you had a similar one is nothing more than bullshit
I was sad too, life can be sad but that's what makes the good things good lol. I was hype as f*** to get a bed and my own room down the line. I'm not saying it's not bad again but I'm saying as someone in that same situation for a while, it's not as bad as the others.

If a child has to ask for a bed the country has failed them, if a child has to ask for something to help support them because of a disability then the country has failed them, and if they have to ask for any of this over toys then the country has failed them

I'm just saying that not on the level of the others or makes me rethink the cruelty of the world. I slept on the floor next to 3 brothers and it didn't even bother me. Our TV and our car got stolen. Sometimes s*** just happens. I'm not saying it's good but as someone who currently sleeps on a couch 5 days a week for my job, couches ain't bad lol. I woulda taken a couch any day back in the day lol

Because you had it harder than the kid in the letter, doesn't mean the initial point is invalid. That kid shouldn't be asking an imaginary being for a bed, just like you shouldn't be sleeping on the floor when you were younger or sleeping on a couch for a job (unless you're a very highly solicited pilot/diplomat)
