Bloodshed is the first single to The Weeknd's New Album, "destinesia"Bloodshed - 3:22

This track was in formed in 2019 when Abel was invited to a session with Pharrell at his home studio located in Beverly Hills in 2019. Bloodshed was the one of many songs that were made from the 2019 sessions but during them Pharrell supposedly told Abel that this is "the one that they need to hear first".Bloodshed starts off with Pharrell's signature 4 count into the distorted instrumental coupled with deep drums and roaring bass. About 15 seconds in Abel hops onto the beat and details how this is the last time he let's someone play with his heart. Explaining how his last girl was a fluke who only wanted something temporary while also hinting he knew from the jump. The hook starts and he warns his next "bitch" that if she plays him again that there will be bloodshed. The track ends with an ominous laugh.

    Sample:
Back Door - Clan of Xymox

    Reference Track:
    Party Monster - The Weeknd

    Credits

    Main Artist : The Weeknd

    Main Producers:
    Pharrell

Out Of Here Records, Pierre Bourne, "Come Out Here"- 6/10. Ferrari is definitely a hit and earns you 20M, but the Wondagurl collabs flop (could have used a little more info on those tracks). Carti pops on at least one song but two takes you down a bit. Overall I like the concept, would definitely be a step up for me from TLOP4.

Psykenight Music Group, Father, "Pretty Niggas Only..."- 8/10. This is the project Awful Records have been searching for. Seems like it would bring a whole fresh vibe to the Atlanta sound and would become a weekday party classic. Lengths of tracks are perfect for me, really like that they were kept concise. Would have liked to see some more contribution from a variety of producers though. Cover was sick and I really liked where this one went.

Sundown Records, Post Malone, "The Dollar Knight"- 7/10. This s*** looks trippy and i'm a big fan. Feel like based on the cover and song titles, Metro paying homage to 80s music Sob Story (like in Heartless or 10 Freaky Girls). Posty needed a bit of a shorter album to really accent his songwriting ability and this gives him that opportunity. Definitely multiple hits, that will get you 40M. Could imagine this going down late nights with the OVO crew in Toronto. Production choices were solid but a little vanilla. I also think this could have benefitted from a few longer songs, like on JT's the 20/20 Experience. Even if I'm not the biggest Post fan I would have this on repeat.
