Smacked VoodooOf course but that whole thing going on just gives them a reason to be even more protective of their IPs. We saw how quick they were to take care of Swapnote when news broke out of child predators and child p***ography on there.
I understand distancing themselves even more after the recent situations coming to light with players (many Ultimate players and people from that scene, but still), however they've completely neglected yet strung them along for so many years.
With PM and Melee the surface issue was a modded game on the mainstage, however they've been known to extend an offer, among other things, only to double back which is f***ed up imo.
Leaving out such a popular competitive scene that clearly brings in views and numbers for petty reasons is just spiteful on so many levels.
