I'm just disappointed that he gave up on making new music to start being a clown on ig

Interscope f***ed up the promotion for Curtis, undershipped BISD iirc, and he got pushed to the side when he wanted to make his own Headphones and be his own boss rather than just promote Beats for Jimmy/Dre.
When you put that with the hate he kept getting from the Culture, it made more sense to reinvent himself and remain culturally relevant through Acting, Producing Content, and using Social Media to his advantage.
I do wish the 40+ songs that G Unit made in 2014 all dropped though

Post Curtis he still had mixtapes like Sincerely Yours, Southside, Return of the Bodysnatchers, Elephant in the Sand, and War Angel LP.
The Curtis loss definitely put him in his bag because that 08-09 Mixtape run produced some of his best projects prior to BISD imo
The guy who came into rap namedropping criminals who then tried to take his life? He's street? Damn, Star stays dropping insider knowledge.

That was his album work.
I agree his album work post Curtis was weak, but his mixtape work was very good in that same era.
50 held back Banks career and beefed with everyone else in G Unit
Lloyd Banks left G Unit over a year ago and has made less noise than he did when he was on there.
That narrative is false at this point. Everyone who left G Unit failed to reach the heights they did in that era on their own.
Game is the only one who stayed relevant but he never came close to the Documentary 1 numbers again.

Yeah Banks is old now it’s too late for him to make noise
