did you know that water is a liquid?

did you know that temperature can also affect the composition of water and also turn it into a solid or gas state depending on the distance of its molecules?

did you know substances over a temperature of 70 degress fahrenheit are usually considered "hot"?

This is what people are talking about when they say don't get made at a joke. This isn't Twitter, calm down.

It's literally just a dumb joke

If you want the real reason why the conversation is dead its because he's innocent and cleared of all charges. Anyone still clinging on to them are the only ones doing mental gymnastics to bring a black man down

What in the absolute mother of f*** are you talking about?

The kendrick line was a joke? Am I misread this post or is that what you're saying?

Also if u were alluding to me with the mental gymnastics trying to bring a black man (MJ) down you really are slow in the head. This threads not about MJ being innocent or not, it's bout a lyric from Kendrick not making much sense

This lyric aside I think this boils down to Kendricks obsession with sacrifice. In this song talking about leaders that were ridiculed. In the beginning of DAMN when he metaphorically sacrifices himself as a parallel to how Fox news twisted his lyrics that were meant to be uplifting. That one song that leaked about MJ and MLK. Also when he spoke on X and R kelly. I think he sees this as some sort of rite of passage to greatness, probably rooted in his religious beliefs of the crucifixion of Christ

It really ain’t. Wasn’t this nigga investigated and everything.

At this point niggas still talking bout this just look weird

Thread filled with slow in the head mouth breathers

The thread isn't a debate about MJ being innocent or not. The threads about it being a nonsensical lyric

  • Jun 22, 2021

MJ innocent but that line makes no sense

Kendrick is a nigga from Compton who made it out alive, where does he portray that he is wise when he literally says don't assume anything about him lol.

Kendrick has said before that nobody in the world knows the purpose of life except artists. This dude definitely thinks very highly of himself. Which is well deserved but to say only artists know the purpose of life is arrogant and ignorant on so many levels

No seriously I'm.baffled at how people liked this post. It's literally responding to nothing in OP. "If you want the real reason why the conversation is dead" HUH?? Man wtf are u talking about.

I'm more mad at the people who liked this post than I am at u for making it. "It was a joke!" WTFFFFFF yeh kendrick randomly made a joke in the middle of one of the most serious songs on kendrick most serious album. Are you dumb?

  • Jun 22, 2021

Then he tries to make it a race thing at the end. can we not call out dumb lyrics without it being racist?

  • le epic poster xD

Lol he didn't sacrifice himself with DAMN. And Mortal man wasn't about sacrifice either. What are you hearing?

    WESLEYS THEORY

There's literally nothing complex about it. Michael was the victim of an extortion plot twice and the media went along with it because the industry had it out for him the second he bought The Beatles catalog.

  • Jun 22, 2021

Michael was a victim and the saddest part is he died before people realized it

    WESLEYS THEORY

It's supporting the main hook of Mortal Man which is asking "when s*** hits the fan, is you still a fan?"

How is this so hard to understand

How is this so hard to understand

The main hook with that context "he made great music, u say he touched those kids" makes sense but it's a very very bad example

Kendrick uses a good example.when he says if the govt PLANTED coke in my car would u judge me. That's "shit hitting the fan" for kendrick. Kendrick having coke, planted or not is very different than saying "hey you're accused of touching kids..but Billie Jean tho!!"

"So you ask yourself in the midnight hour, “Who am I? Is this really what I’m supposed to be doing? How did I get here? Why am I doing this? What’s my responsibility?” It’s a real trippy thing, you feel me? And I think it’s something that nobody can understand; only an artist can"

See this is where you are being disingenuous. The article doesn't say that at all. Not even in the slightest lol.

And he was specifically referencing how fame and money forces you to become more of what you are. When he said only an artist would know, it was it a response to literally his process of making music and in his case TPAB and becoming a star but not doing all the superstar things like strip clubs etc.

That same article he refutes ego driven conclusions like you made.

    Good try though.

What are u talking about? Even with the context of the article that direct quote I included is also a comment made to stand it's own

Don't do.mental gymnastics. He tried to be fancy and say something that sounds cool but in reality that's exactly what it says "people who ask themselves who am I? How did I get here" they don't understand, only an artist can"

U calling me disingenuous for repeating the exact same sentiment he did makes u look like a Stan
