As someone that work in a hospital I can say that lockdowns and not having huge congregations of people did help. When the pandemic first started our entire 3rd/4th floor was being overrun. Our ICU was overrun. S*** reminded me of the last of us. Because of restrictions in place it did curve the virus. Today we only have 4 potential Covid patients and 2 Positive patients. That's WAY better than the 20 we had back in November and the 60 in March/April.

I work for the Operating Room as a Surgical Technician. They actually forced us to work side by side with nurses because they wasn't properly trained to wear PPE.
