any thoughts on this game's single player modes? really interested in gettign into tekken but I can't play online rn because the internet where I'm staying at rn is poor

Like a lot of fighting games, if not all, the single player experience is really nothing to write home about. The story (which is about 3 hours) is decent and has a couple impactful moments if you’re familiar with the tekken lore, and arcade quest is cool because it’s one of the ways the game teaches you how to be better. Other than that it’s just arcade mode & vs.

You could use this time to get familiar with some characters before you dive into online when you’re able

Right? I am so happy that they did the right thing with Tekken 7 and the series survived and stuff will hopefully be good from now on which I hope TTT 3 will be good as well and won't repeat what TTT 2 did... But I do trust the Tekken team so it's all good famo!

Did they ever explain how tf Kazuya got so powerful all of a sudden? Dude been a side character forever and now suddenly at the start of tekken 8 he's super saiyan world destroyer level before even absorbing azazael?? What was stopping him from this sudden world conquering quest before?
