I said my experirnce was bad but that isn't the only reason that I think they aren't underpaid. Like I said take in their days off and their 40 hr weeks and you realize they really aren't

My bad you said private schools

Have you ever attended one? If so can you compare teachers for me?

I have never attented one but like Ivy said I'm gonna apply logic and say they're better

idk about yall but i had some pretty great teachers in hs. lot of them ran clubs after school, actually cared about the students and in general just did a lot of behind the scenes s*** that was under appreciated. pretty thankful for them, they deserve more :)

You ignore evidence when presented but in situations where it's impossible to give evidence since it is indeed a SUBJECTIVE f***ing opinion you care about it nice

relative poverty was completely outside the relevance of the conversation being had. You said letting in immigrants in would create more crime, I showed you clear studies proving immigrants commit less crime, then all you did was completely ignored it, saying the studies aren't credible with no reasoning as to why they aren't.

and the media doesn't have a left leaning bias, dummy.

No you presented me with some bullshit articles with 0 credibility and the fact that you say relative poverty is unrelated to it just shows you don't know what it is

  • Nov 6, 2019

And how can you seriously say the media doesn't have a left leaning bias

    Tbh most aren't.

    1. They get Summer vacation
    2. Most just recycle all the same assignments/teachings each year
    3. They don't work weekends, get Holidays off, AND get SpringWinter break.

However the select few who actually go the extra mile for students (i.e. spending their own money for stuff to give the students, putting in extra time consistently, etc) deserve more.

I believe MANY college professors actually make more than deserved though, its kinda ridiculous. Teaching 1-3 classes two times a week, just a few assignments the entire semester, etc.

Not to mention those professors who have TA's do all the actual work, and even require students to purchase their own published textbooks to get money directly from each student after getting a salary already.

Do you think teachers just sit around on the weekends and holidays and throughout summer?
