neonlosers have always existed there are maybe more today cause people aren't socialized as well and the current economy but that has happened at other points of history
they just use to do the crusades or huge wars that raped/murdered villages, colonizers, priests etc
if you read old literature even shakespeare there are loser archetypes it just wasn't called that
