Lowkey I used to ride for TDE in 2017-18 but I'm off them now, mainly because the last releases were forgettable and are too dry nowadays
In 2017-2018
We got
DAMN
Ctrl
BP soundtrack
Redemption
November
Thats 2 classics, 2 great albums and one of the best movie soundtracks ever. The antics and rollouts are annoying tbh but im not fiending. I know when they do drop the quality of the music isn’t gonna disappoint so i dont care and just let them do what they do
yeah sza’s rollout doesn’t make any sense at this point like why return from hiatus drop a single then disappear again lol
It’s so f***ing dumb, I don’t even think they sent the song to radio either
So fireeeee but it’s never coming
TDEs problem imo is they rely 2 much on the core fanbase their artists have already built and don’t put enough effort into growing said fanbase.
Isaiah Rashad the perfect example of this
Kendrick ain’t tweeting about new TDE releases either, idk if he’s trying to stay mysterious or something is up..
I thought I was the only one that noticed that

Why wasn’t Zay on the BP soundtrack album? Would’ve been an amazing look for him
Im gonna seriously make a video breaking this down but a super red flag is Dave left Sept 2019 and TDE hasn't dropped a project since Aug 2019.
ALSO Kendrick and SZA are supposedly becoming free agents after their next albums......

Notice how nobody from the TDE camp post about pgLANG either btw.
Please do cause this my first time hearing about this
When Zay and Kendrick return with classics everyone will be back on their d***. The “rollouts”are annoying af tho.
It seems to be all on punch. He does a terrible job running a label. The fact that he can’t put an album he’s been working on since before s80 our shows how his insecurities fuel an infinitely unattainable desire for perfection

It’s cause punch is a ducking idiot they could’ve dropped the mixtape she made for buzz but they don’t have any idea how to manage artists.
Says the frank profile
Man frank hasn’t done anything unexplainable since blonde and even that was explainable so stfu

I’m
Wondering if any of the artists have beef w each other or if it boils down to the artists not liking the label. I don’t think any of them would hate top dawg, especially not kendrick, but the label seems to be run shady as s***

Nobody on earth gives a s*** about cringe ass reason yet they seem to only release s*** by him
It’s your fault you made them this important in your head
They gonna drop when they drop and normal people gonna be like sick what a surprise and be happy

There’s a fine line between obsessing over artists and poor management with poor quality releases. Idk where the hell they’re headed, but it’s most likely going to pander to the “I only listen TO REAL RAP” crowd. They did it with Jay Rock and that kinda worked. I still see people defending Crash Talk like it wasn’t a rushed commercialized product that took 3 years to make. Same with Chance and Rocky and now yall wanna defend The Big Day and Testing. Both brought up numerous times that they were in album mode and when Testing drops you can hear in Rocky’s vocals that most, if not all of Testing, was recorded after the Cozy Tapes 2 tour. I remember watching Rocky answer questions from famous celebrities and his voice was all sorts of worn out and raspy and when I heard the album
I will continue to enjoy my tumblr inspired double time goth trap and power pop drill thx
@NasEscobar
Wtf is this
They know exactly wtf they’re doing dropping 10 singles from this guy
