yeah i enjoyed this much more than Midnights. has a few snoozers but a few really good ones

gonna give it another listen in the morning but i'm not mad at this one after becoming quite a fan of folklore/evermore and being severely disappointed with Midnights lol

I really enjoyed this on first listen. There’s a lot to take away from this. I wasn’t too high on Midnights, but following up folklore and evermore was a thankless task. The production is a lot better than Midnights while still being close enough to risk some fatigue. Personally I could do without Jack. The songwriting is the clear star here. For the most part it’s great, but there are some cringeworthy moments.

The only song I really didn’t like was The Alchemy.
