Off this listen today almost 2 years later, Midnights honestly holds up more than a lot of her albums imo. Lavender Haze, Maroon, Bejeweled, Labyrinth, Sweet Nothing (forgot how good the production is on this one) and Mastermind are all top tier for her and even some of the songs that I initially wasn't a fan of like Karma & Vigilante S*** have grown on me especially after seeing them live

Haven't even gotten to the 3am tracks which are even better than the main album I'd argue please let all the 2 s\*\*\* be hinting at a 2am version

It was jarring as f*** at first it's grown on me though I can't lie. I remember someone made a version with the original beat under her and it sounded 10x better, it's really the half-time bullshit that ruins it

What I did buy though were $90 obstructed seat tickets that ended up being the best move possible we were behind the screen but everyone in the section was cool (prob because it was all people in their 20s and 30s who didn't want to pay for anything better lmao) and my sister her friend and I just danced and sang high as hell off gummies for 3 hours. Genuinely an incredible show
