    No lol.

Half of Taylor's cultural impact comes from social networks/in-communities/standom/tabloids, etc. which she almost exclusively controls on purpose.

MJ had some of that sure but I'd argue more of the love of his stuff came straight from how quality his music/art was. And even with all that external stuff, MJ had that kind of clout with no Internet/streaming.

Taylor's huge, but she's not there yet even if people like to act like she is.

    Hmm

The latter is that Elvis/Beatles/MJ echelon of musicians that are just full on symbols of music itself forever. It’s most comparable to how the big three - Superman/Batman/Spidey - are THE superheroes

Folks like Taylor come close but she’s still just a person if that makes sense

  • Aug 26, 2025

I hope Taylor and Max really come with it

Taylor has more in common with a Walmart than a regular human. And that's how she likes it - very clearly. She actively does everything she can to grow her brand/celebrity image.

Michael was very much a human wrestling and suffering with the isolation of it all, even before all the accusations/allegations.

The hardest promo she could do is hinting this is her last album before a hiatus

her fans like her celebrity more than her music

and that about sums it up

that was maybe true until 1993.
