Yeah, I'm surprised how anti-Folklore this is. Some similar vibes, but this is way more darker/experimental/explicit. Was expecting it to be more of the same kind of tone, but this is its own beast in terms of the actual feel of the album.

Also it's more of a rock album than Folklore is.

The production on this is more toned down and focusing on her writing rather than the aesthetic.

The songs are actually more accessible than folklore as well.

Another fantastic album. I’d say it’s just as good as folklore. This is going to be on repeat a lot. I think it will get better after each listen. Top 10 albums of 2020 along with folklore. Taylor proves she is fantastic at writing a real album.

Folklore had some hits but was not in my top 10 albums of the year. Evermore may have edged its way in to top 5.
