Because The Internet got average reviews but was seen as a cult classic. Unanimously seen as a massive step up from Camp. STN MTN / Kauai too if you want to count those

Tyler was in a really good place after Flowerboy, he didn't need to go experimental and drop IGOR

For some reason I thought BTI had mid reviews lol

Also I read the Tyler one wrong. I thought you were saying he changed up from CB to FB/Igor lol

listening to kauai while in kauai was such a spiritual experience

I can't believe how bad the reviews for this album are. It isn't great, but it's not terrible either. It's a perfectly fine project.

Don’t see how anyone could hear Currents and call it that lol

Could be better imo it’s a solid album but some songs kinda bore me. I like about half of the project.

liking the dancey vibes, found the production really well done too. Nothing is a standout to me though so far, but I’m enjoying it fs

Miss the old drum sound from the first two albums though. Hoping one day the psych rock vibes will come back

I sort of wish he leaned harder into the House music vibe. The more dancey songs are the ones I keep going back to.
