LaFleurIf she didn't want to put any real creative effort in these songs she could've kept them vaulted tbh. I know that I'm in a small minority here but a batch of songs that sounds pretty much like the old batch of songs that dropped 2 years ago is not going to cut it for me.
Ctrl SZA was displaying a whole palette of sounds on both production and singing. SOS SZA and after seems more focused on being a public pleaser, a palatable music merchant and this s*** sucks. It's obviously getting her more bread but at the cost of a lesser product.
Hopefully her next album will get her back on track (probably not).

i think there was a creative effort but these songs are left overs from the sos era. same thing with the ctrl deluxe. with that being said, i prefer the ctrl deluxe.
in regards to the strongest stuff, i think her continuing to work with michael uzi (and maybe sir dylan) can yield interesting results.
at the end of the day its more sos
