Gonna miss the weekly discussions
Not really a fan of instant drops even if selfishly they seem cool.
yea this was an interesting choice to drop all at once. amazon usually does weekly episodes too.

i wanna know what goes on with competing writers rooms in the industry because this and The Idol dropping within months of each other is kinda funny even tho they’re different

Also, Donald's only directly involved with the first episode (story and director), but Stephen writes a few and directs one.

Stephen might be better

Donald directs the pilot and the story is co-written by him. He's not the script writer.

Didn't even know she was in this
Swarm feels most like one of the unsettling standalone episodes that peppered the second half of Atlanta‘s run, with layered allegory and varied genre threads. It’s a recipe for a Twilight Zone episode — or, in this case, seven half-hour Twilight Zone episodes — unified by Fishback, notes of almost hallucinatory luridness and a sound design punctuated in moments of high intensity by the underlying titular buzzing.
I’ve been saying for a while that I had a good feeling this show was going to feel like it was straight out of season 3 of Atlanta, and it looks like I was right
Some people aren’t going to like that, but I love that season 3 ended up setting the tone for Donald’s later work
