On the one hand I can believe Supreme has become/is super corporate. It's not out of the realm of possibility that a brand owned by white people and so embedded in Black culture doesn't actually have a lot of Black creatives working for it.
On the other hand selling a t shirt of Black men being hung for rich white kids to buy and wear is f***ing wild even if this is Emory's whole M.O. And the post with the White Fragility book is cringe as hell.
Maybe you can chalk it up to creative differences but both parties should've known what the other was all about.

again I just don’t understand or align with this way of thinking that public visible gestures that ultimately mean nothing like screen printing a slave on a tee is somehow more weighted than just cutting a check towards something or multiple things that combat the actual issues that make up systemic racism today
There is much more Supreme can do to help black descendants of slaves than print a f***ing edgy ass t shirt that once again glamorizes black pain for a whiteboy (or a black mf who just found out they’re are black after 2016 lol) to feel proud for wearing it lol
