damn. really not the first time someone within Supreme alluded to them being racist
my thinking: they did a collab with a dude, somebody who owns supreme found out hes like a socialist or wants to kill white people or whatever and asked to suspend the collaboration bc this is not good for the money. Tremaine didnt like that & left
would anybody really be surprised at there being systematic racism in supreme lol, I feel like the brand could not be further away from how it started at this point

pretty sure Jafa is relatively uncontroversial
def feels like something specific happened and everyone is biting their tongue on it
not entirely relevant by tyshawn did an ep of throwing fits recently and he was mostly kinda boring but a couple of times he basically said that supreme is super corporate and he just shows up for shoots and stuff, doesn't really fw the brand/people that much outside of liking s*** he thinks is fly.
Corporate America is so f***ing stupid, man.
Why hire Tremaine f***in Emory who’s entire career arc has been “I tell stories about the black experience through my clothes” and then you don’t let him tell stories about the black experience at Supreme.
I figured it was health related but man Supreme is cooked.

Been known tbh. That's why everyone who rides for the brand has been doing their own s*** for a while now (King, Brick, Violet etc).
Ship is sinking.

And to think majority of Supremes profit comes from black culture
now that I saw that third post dont think he would quit in a situation where that would be his sole gig and he didnt have his own brand that is now getting collabs and everything

I'd be VERY disappointed if that were the case, this is the same Supreme that got white kids wearing a "BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY" North Face jacket.
They can do a hentai collab and put out a blood and semen hoodie, but this is where they cross the line?
“Less than 10% minorities working when the brand is largely based off black culture” is insane

Cause they love anything related to hip hop/black music unfortunately. They can give a rats ass about the culture behind black creatives

it wasn't exactly that. apparently another black employee felt uncomfortable bc the collection was depicting lynching. they dropped it behind Tremaine's back so hes mad about it. and thats kinda crazy bc they lowkey punked him on this but we don't know everything so yeah

What’s the saying? “They love what we do and our talents not who we are”

Facts. Like the most popular pair of jeans rn has cotton wreath designs all over it, in which Tremaine has talked deeply about the inspiration behind it and the history of slavery. EVERYONE knows this is what he stands for, depicting the history of black culture through his clothes.

he also said something once (maybe on IG stories?) basically saying to be careful because a lot of these companies out here run by white dudes just want to profit off a culture that isn't theres
