You do realize that just because it’s based on the comic that doesn’t mean it’s a 1:1 adaptation right?

You had lay up with it’s an alien , animal hybrid , robot and emo but no if it’s based on comic or cartoon it’s a different tone than Gunn and style . Depends on execution. If Gunn himself is saying super girl will feel like a Gunn movie why are you mad ? Most if not all of the Gunn constructed universe will feel a bit like Gunn

I don’t think anyone is writing off this movie or saying it’s gonna be a Guardians remake. All we saying is that it’s clearly gonna be similar in vein to that style of film, and Gunn has said so himself. I don’t see why some people are getting so defensive about that
