Batfleck solo soon

Batfleck solo soon
Gon head and run Aquaman 3 while we at it
best version of supergirl to date on screen = being the tallest midget
fate of DCU rests on Clayface, imagine teling that to someone 5 years ago
I don't think this matters much towards the universe. Its largely a standalone film that happens to take place in the universe (without any DC supporting characters), and only a $40M investment they're prob going to see returns on
This could realistically have existed anyways without a DCU. Its reminiscent of post-Joker when Philips was proposing a DC Black Label for standalone villain films. Also produced by Reeves' company potentially for his saga initially.
MoT is prob the crossroads. Gunn/Safrans current contracts are up in spring 2027 and wouldn't be surprised if they punt it again to observe the results of that
Batfleck solo soon
reminder batfleck and Keaton are canonically both erased from existence and replaced with George Clooney

I said it 5 years ago
DCU is a bunch of random side stories and James Gunn films as the main storyline
Wrong director choice
Wrong writer
Getting a woman writer and director to tell their own story feels like a lay up . Adapting the given comic feels like an odd choice
It was fine

Man of Tomorrow is gonna do fine
The challenge with building a universe is getting people to care about and show up for all of the ancillary character-led films
Right now Supergirl looks DOA
Clayface looks like a good film, but it’s most likely not gonna make that much money
Outside of that, they have zero other films with an actual release date after Man of Tomorrow
It seems like they have Superman figured out but everything else is kind of up-in-the-air at the moment
I still think starting with TV shows so early was a mistake
EDIT: Forget release dates, I just realized they don’t even have any movies post-Man of Tomorrow that are anywhere close to filming right now
Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happen if the flash was a critical and commercial success
James should've put his foot down
F*** that cause reeves real for wanting to stay separate
If you’re the boss you get treated like one
this is his director and his writer choices
I mean Gunn choose director , writer and said script was good

Honestly they messed up jumping right into the time travel shenanigans.
All they had to was give us a good Flash vs Captain Cold story
