TLOU1 had way more action than TLOU2 and the amount of flashbacks after flashbacks, flashbacks within a flashback just start to take you out of the experience.

It grows stagnant with a tryhard "revenge" story that amounts to nothing at the end all because "we wanted to make a video game that wasn't fun" (I know they aint say it in those words but I read that article)
