(I’m predicting a Pokémon rep for Smash as DLC and there’s a Pokémon direct on Wednesday)

i mean honestly i don’t think they will reveal a smash rep for a Pokémon direct.
but who knows, maybe.

Regardless of Pokémon rep or not I feel like they still have their “E3 rep” to announce considering Arms rep was revealed way back in March(?) IIRC. The question is when do they reveal their E3 rep?

they honestly should have revealed it after their ARMS presentation if they were just gonna reveal it this month man, i don’t think they’ll reveal any more characters this month. but i would love to be wrong

I’m thinking either Crash or Geno for this next pack.

Rumors point to their not being a Nintendo direct until September so if it was a Pokémon rep, why not reveal it in Pokémon direct instead of shadow announce it?

True, they could have done it. Or maybe they have a mini direct prepared for next month showing off Mario remasters.

Maybe they could announce Mario remasters, Super Mario ROG coming to NSO, and Geno as the Smash rep

nah sakurai would have told us if there we’re gonna be any delays with production on dlc, if they announce a Pokémon dlc smash rep then alright but i think they’re gonna hold out on reveals until August.

Yeah, I just know their has to be an announcement sometime this summer I feel like because unless they had no E3 rep this year their has to be the reveal of whoever was planned for E3

I honestly would just be okay with no further smash reveals for the summer and just get a fall double reveal of Pack 7 & 8

I’d be okay with that. Rumors point to a September direct so just reveal 7 and 8 then. I’m cool with it.

Longer wait for two characters then a shorter wait for one character

and i think Crash and Geno are the more likely options

but knowing how Sakurai is, man we have been horrible at guessing who he’s gonna put in.

crash got a new game to promote, so i could easily see him get in

The only hit against him is he’s not big in Japan

They already did a Pokémon spirit event but Pokémon is Pokémon so I can see it happening. Rex would be my bet for the most likely first party.

Yeah there’s no rules but i don’t know why they wouldn’t save those spirts for a Pokemon rep DLC

Yeah but i never found this to be a hit for any character. They have to appeal to every demographic and i don’t see them rejecting potential characters like Crash and Master Chief just because they’re not as popular in Japan.

There’s plenty of characters that aren’t as popular over here that they would add in anyway because of its mass appeal in Japan

Pokémon got 900+ mins, they could easily add more
