Also think I might add Bowser to my list of mains. My Ness started struggling midway through the play session and for some reason I decided to go Bowser instead of my other mains and I pulled off 3 straight wins.

The more I play this game the more I have a negative opinion about it. I feel like half the time you lose in this game it’s just to jank. Melee feels like i lose because the other person played better. This game does not.
I hope Smash 6 has around 25 characters.

Melee has 0 jank characters.
The last two games really upped the jank and low key it ruins gameplay.

What you mean my jank cause in melee there’s maybe 5 characters in the game that people actually play that’s boring as hell to me I rather every character be played if you lose consistently then just learn how to play that character it’s not that hard everyone has their play style

I’m not saying jank= a bad character.
Jank is like manado arts, Arsene, Hero down B, pac-man as a whole, Terry Go, ect.
Melee doesn’t have any of that.
Also there’s like 11 viable characters in Melee- Fox, Falco, Marth, Peach, Puff, Shiek, Pikachu, Yoshi, Samus, Captain Falcon, and Ice Climbers (with Wobbling legal).

Ultimate is vetter balanced than Melee but that doesn’t matter if half the cast is annoying to fight against. No one in Melee is annoying to fight against. Not even Puff unless you are playing Hbox.

Melee has got to be one of the most unbalanced competitive games
Ultimate got a roster that even the low tiers can stand a chance against high tier characters dependent on the skill of the player.

Probably one of the most overrated fighting games of all time, ima keep it real with everyone.
Most of the technical skill is from fully taking advantage of unintended mechanics from the developer. And there’s only so many times i can watch fox ditto matches
Hbox had to come through and murder the competition for anybody to actually have any interesting switch ups during comp
