Well If you care then you should acknowledge that independence isn't going to come with support from big corporation. That's Bad Bunny's goal while entirely genuine from his point of view it's also entirely ignorant. He's putting people onto Albizu Campos and PR'S revolutionary history because he wants to influence the independence movement but he's never truly going to take an anti-imperialist stance. He might make the movement bigger but he's steering it in a neoliberal direction.

all this talk about the economy being boosted isn't going to matter when the island eventually suffers the same fate as Hawaii. The economy in DR is technically doing good too and look at how they're doing .... still living mostly in poverty. Also, the DR is independent in name only and I don't want that same fate for PR.
