the ascension is toward the bottom of his albums but there's still some really cool and beautiful stuff. this is crazy

as far as A Beginner's Mind, i guess i must've listened to it a lot in quarantine because i knew like every melody in every song. not usual for me and Sufjan lol. i also think how straightforward and catchy some of the songs are contributes to that. production is blessed and Sufjan and Angelo harmonize well together. i wouldn't try to rank this man's entire discog but this record is up there.
